Affiliate Chamber Council Leadership Team Announces New Regional Co-Chairs

| By Sarah Jester

We are pleased to announce the new and returning regional co-chairs of the Affiliate Chamber Council (ACC) Leadership Team.

In close collaboration with Jason Rae, NGLCC Vice President of Affiliate Relations, these NGLCC Affiliate Chamber leaders will help support the growth of our outstanding network of 50+ affiliates in the US.  In addition, we give our sincerest thanks to Rebecca Waggoner and Harry Young for their many years of dedicated service to the ACC and NGLCC affiliates nationwide.

Local membership is the key to promoting LGBT businesses where you are. At NGLCC, we recognize that a growing business not only needs a strong local network where business owners live and work but also business certification and access to all the strategic growth opportunities offered by our national organization.  And don't forget that LGBT Business Enterprise certification fees are waived when you join your local affiliate chamber.  Find and join your nearest NGLCC Affiliate Chamber here.

Steven Adkins, President/CEO, Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce

In 1999, Steve moved from his native San Diego, California to South Florida and immediately became interested in promoting Miami as a year-round, LGBT and LGBT-friendly tourist destination.  Serving as President & CEO of the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, he is proud of the organization’s contributions to creating significant local LGBT community visibility. MDGLCC has created a commerce platform around LGBT purchasing power and economic contribution.  As a powerful economic engine, MDGLCC has secured a place at every table for our community that did not exist before the chamber’s existence.
