What can you do to build relationships and get connected?

Engage in programs to support LGBTBE growth!

Monthly Webinars

Connect with other suppliers and learn best practices with NGLCC's monthly LGBTBE Webinar Series. The webinar is designed to offer expert advice, information, and education to business owners and entrepreneurs certified by the NGLCC as LGBT Business Enterprises (LGBTBEs). Webinar topics and panelists are announced every month in the NGLCC's Connect e-newsletter.

Mentorship Program

NGLCC established the Mentorship Program to match certified LGBTBEs with corporate representatives and/or other successful LGBT business owners who have the background and expertise to assist with business development and focus areas identified by the LGBTBE protégé. The program’s objective is to help LGBTBEs identify and overcome barriers that typically inhibit success. Mentors strive to foster growth and enhance the competitiveness of certified LGBTBEs.

Scholarship Program

LGBTBEs harness executive education to strengthen their management skills and build their business capacity. NGLCC is proud to partner with Dartmouth College to help certified LGBTBEs attend Tuck’s School of Business Executive Education Program at Dartmouth. The Tuck Scholarship includes tuition, books, materials, accommodations, and most meals. The program also offer scholarships of up to $5,000 which can be applied to tuition and book fees of a business development course of the applicant’s choice at an accredited college/university.

Supplier Events

Make sure you're attending local networking events, but always keep the NGLCC National Business & Leadership Conference on your calendar for face-to-face interaction with top business leaders in corporate America, the federal government, and LGBTBEs. Building on last year's sold out conference, we are expecting more than 700 certified suppliers, LGBT and allied business owners, corporate and government procurement decision makers, and community leaders from across the country and around the globe. You'll have three days of making new connections, meeting new customers, exploring teaming opportunities, and taking in the wide array of expert panels, educational sessions, and world-class networking.
