Direct Connection Series

In 2010, the NGLCC began the Direct Connection Series with the goal of providing an educational forum for LGBT businesses and entrepreneurs, NGLCC affiliate chamber members and leaders, corporate partner representatives and LGBT employee resource group members. The Direct Connection Series includes national and regional quarterly teleconferences that will focus on issues of importance to NGLCC members and the LGBT Business Community.

The NGLCC intends for the recordings posted below to be educational resources for its members. 

 

2010 Q1 Call Topic: Certification for LGBT-Owned Businesses

This series of six calls invited affiliate business members and supplier diversity advocates across the country to listen as affiliate leaders, certified LGBT businesses, and corporate representatives define supplier diversity, share how to become certified, and share tips on leveraging business to business and corporate opportunities with certification.
