Glenn C Reimer

Senior Director, Events & Experience

Glenn serves as NGLCC's Senior Director of Events and Experience, overseeing the planning and execution of NGLCC's robust schedule of events and programming.

Before moving to Washington, DC to join NGLCC Events & Experience, Glenn worked for ten years at two NYC-based event production companies as well as founding and managing his own events firm. His work took him to multiple countries and allowed him to work in some of the greatest venues around the world for clients including: IBM Watson, Verizon, Tourism Toronto, Sikorsky Aviation, HBO, Entertainment Weekly, Freeform, UBS, Oaktree Capital Management, Centerbridge Partners, Apax Partners, ConEdison, Executive Leadership Council and many others. He takes great pride in not only producing and managing logistics, but also being closely involved in creative design including tabletop and floral, menu curation, décor, and lighting. He also served for five years as Events Chair on the Executive Committee for NGLCCNY.

Glenn’s previous career was in the cable documentary field. As production manager, he was involved in many productions which also allowed him to travel around the world extensively. A distinct highlight of his career was Co-Producer of Titanic Revealed, filmed at-sea in cooperation with Dr. Robert Ballard on location in the North Atlantic above the wreck of RMS Titanic. He also worked on four ‘at-sea’ hours of television wherein he coordinated the planning and logistics for Return to TITANIC LIVE and Sea Spies for National Geographic Channel, as well as Ghosts of the Baltic Sea for History Channel International, all with Dr. Ballard.

Additional highlights include: Voices of Defiance: The Prisoner Chorus of Terezín about the Jewish prisoners at the Czech Nazi concentration camp who learned Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem by rote to perform for their fellow prisoners; The Revolution for The History Channel: thirteen hours of Colonial-era period dramatic/re-enactment broadcasting, as well as performing as John Adams in the series; a two-hour PBS/American Experience on the life and works of famed American poet Walt Whitman; and stints as Associate Producer on Airship Disasters for History Channel, Journeys to the Bottom of the Sea: The Monitor’s Final Mission for BBC and SCIENCE.

Glenn is an avid traveler and hopes to visit even more international and domestic locations as part of his world journey. He collects RMS Queen Mary/Cunard memorabilia from the mid-1930s, and thinks of his apartment as a shrine to the ship and her memory. He’s proud to have been the Executive Producer for Comfort Ye... Annual Concert for the Homeless, founded by prominent Metropolitan Opera soprano Lauren Flanigan, for the past ten years.
