NGLCC Globals Applauds UN for Taking a Stand Against Trans/homophobia
| By Andy DiAntonio
The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and its partners around the world join the international community in applauding the United Nations and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Raad al-Hussein for taking a firm stance against transphobia and homophobia in its recent Human Rights Report. As we know, in nearly every corner of the globe, LGBT people too often face abuse and discrimination that impede them from enjoying their basic human rights. NGLCC & NGLCC Global joins the United Nations in advocating for a world free from discrimination, where LGBT people are free live authentically and thrive economically. We look forward to celebrating this renewed momentum toward full equality worldwide at our upcoming inaugural NGLCC Global LGBTI Business Week.
