2023 International Business & Leadership Conference MatchMakers Information

Matchmakers are prescheduled, 15-minute meetings between Certified LGBTBE® companies and NGLCC Corporate Partner procurement professionals. These meetings are a unique opportunity for Certified LGBTBE® companies to get one-on-one advice on how their business can gain access to procurement opportunities with NGLCC Corporate Partners and for those Corporate Partners to identify opportunities to increase their diverse spend. 

MatchMakers will occur on Thursday, August 17 from 10:30am-12:30pm & 2:30-5pm at the Colorado Convention Center in the ballroom across from the Marketplace Expo. 

Registration for MatchMakers will close on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 6:00pm ET.

Using our third-party matchmaking platform, MyBusinessMatches, these meetings are customized around upcoming opportunities with participating buyers. Our goal is for Certified LGBTBE® companies and corporate procurement professionals to delve into the specifics of how each business can leverage the opportunities our corporate partners have to help our Certified LGBTBEs® and Corporate Partners grow.

When will Matchmakers Take Place?

MatchMakers will occur on Thursday, August 17 from 10:30am-12:30pm & 2:30-5pm in the Four Seasons Ballroom of the Colorado Convention Center. 

How can I participate in MatchMakers?

You must first be registered for the 2023 International Business & Leadership Conference in order to participate in the MatchMakers event. 

Once registered, you will receive an email that contains details on how to register for the MatchMaking Event via the NGLCC Matchmakers Team.

I am not a Corporate Partner or Certified LGBTBE® supplier, can I participate? 

Unfortunately, no. You must be a Corporate Partner or Certified LGBTBE® supplier to participate. For questions reach out to [email protected].

When does registration for this MatchMakers close? 

Registration and Meeting Schedule will close on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 6PM ET. 

How many members of my team can join me for my MatchMaker meeting? 

No more than two (2) team members per table should join.

Will I have wi-fi access on-site to share a presentation?

The NGLCC cannot guarantee wi-fi access in the Colorado Convention Center. The MatchMakers team suggests that you download any presentations or materials you would like to share.

What if I want to participate in MatchMakers and the Marketplace Expo?

The Marketplace Expo will occur from 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM in the Mile High Ballroom of the Colorado Convention Center. These ballrooms are directly opposite each other and easily accessible. The MatchMakers team encourages those interested in participating in both events to take advantage of the two-hour break in MatchMakers programming (from 12:30pm - 2:30pm) to engage in the Marketplace Expo and take advantage of the lunch options on offer in the ballroom.
