Akriti serves as the program manager for Affiliate Education and External Affairs with NGLCC’s cross segment programs including Chamber Leadership Development Program (CLDP) and National Business Inclusion Consortium (NBIC). Prior to joining NGLCC, Akriti worked as an External Relations Officer at Swisscontact (SC) in Cambodia. She also managed an SC flagship project called the Senior Expert Corp (SEC) in the capacity of SEC Country Coordinator.
Akriti is an experienced development practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in international development in South East Asia, South Asia, and Central Africa. Originally from Nepal, Akriti has broad experience in Program Management and Coordination. She enjoys traveling and meeting people from different backgrounds.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration – Development Practice (MPA-DP) with a thematic specialization in food security/nutrition, and functional experience in monitoring and evaluation from Columbia University - School of International and Public Affairs and has a BA in Economics and Not-for-Profit Management from Salem College. She speaks English, Nepali, and Hindi.
