Trans Day Of Remembrance Program
Joy Amidst Adversity: Navigating Joy and Pain with Grace
Description: Join the NGLCC TGX Initiative, its allies, and the greater NGLCC community as we honor this year’s Transgender Day of Remembrance with Misha Safran (she/they), a trilingual ICF Professional Certified Coach, international speaker, and award-winning leadership trainer. Misha is the founder of NGLCC Certified LGBTBE® The Center for Empathy and Emotional Intelligence (CEEQ), which focuses on how empathy and emotional awareness enhance relationships at home, work, and in communities. In this engaging talk, we’ll explore how joy and pain can coexist, deepening our emotional resilience and enriching our lives. Rather than viewing these feelings as opposites, we will learn to embrace both as complementary forces. Through reflective exercises, thoughtful discussions, and mindfulness techniques, you’ll discover ways to remain fully present with both emotions without diminishing either. Ideal for anyone navigating life transitions, coping with challenges, or seeking emotional depth, this talk offers insights and tools to cultivate self-compassion and inner strength. Join us to unlock a richer, more balanced perspective on life’s full emotional spectrum.
