The Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC) has been a long-standing leader amongst NGLCC’s 60+ affiliate chambers and has earned the well-deserved designation as 2018 Affiliate Chamber of the Year due to its incredible year-round programming and its impact on the local Miami-Dade community.
With over 20 years of operation, MDGLCC is one of the largest NGLCC affiliate chambers in the country and offers a variety of year-round programming to its members, including bi-monthly mixer, quarterly luncheons, young professional networking, numerous interest-specific council meetings, and a yearly gala benefitting the chamber’s continued community support programming.
In addition to uplifting its local LGBT business community through programming, the MDGLCC is a cornerstone participant in NGLCC’s annual conference and yearlong programming, and the chamber is heavily involved in local advocacy. This past year, MDGLCC created a council specifically dedicated to identifying and addressing ways the chamber can support local ERG’s and influence local politics and public affairs in the favor of LGBT entrepreneurs.
