The Transgender & Gender Expansive (TGX) Initiative works to convene a group of diverse leaders that will improve and advise upon efforts to procure goods and services from transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and gender expansive business owners, with the ultimate goal of economic empowerment for some of the most vulnerable — yet most innovative– members of the LGBTQ community.

Advocating for Future Generations: 2024 Transgender Day of Visibility and Action
Wednesday, March 27th, from 2-3pm ET

Join the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce for a virtual program in honor of Transgender Day of Visibility and Action. This event will bring together a panel of esteemed business and diversity leaders dedicated to championing the rights and inclusion of the transgender & gender expansive (TGX) business community. We’ll explore moving beyond visibility and awareness towards solidarity and action in our work and daily lives, as well as what it means to advocate for the TGX community in the present in order to support and empower future generations. How to Join the TGX Initiative

  1. Confirm that you are eligible for LGBTBE Certification. Contact supplierdiversity@nglcc.org with any questions regarding eligibility.
  2. Visit My.NGLCC.org to create your business profile and begin the certification process. 
  3. Join your local affiliate chamber. LGBTBE certification fees are waived for local affiliate chamber members.
  4. Get connected with an ambassador from the TGX Initiative to learn more about opportunities available to you as a TGX business owner.
