NGLCC Thanks Affiliate Chambers & Corporate Partners for Support Following Orlando Tragedy

In the weeks since the shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, this nation and, specifically, the LGBT community, have been coming to terms with what this horrendous act of violence and hatred means for our community and movement. In the face of such unbrindled violence, NGLCC has been incredibly moved by the support and solidarity with the LGBT community expressed by our affiliate chambers and corporate partners. Below is a snapshot of just some of the tributes to those lost or injured in Orlando.

Affiliate Chambers

As the business voice of Orlando’s LGBT community, MBA Orlando, NGLCC’s local affiliate chamber, was directly impacted by the tragedy and was one of Orlando’s leading voices in the following days. MBA Orlando organized vigils, survivor assistance hot-lines, and other shows of support for the community. Additional fundraisers and vigils were held by chambers in cities across Florida, and beyond, including a statement of solidarity from NGLCC’s global affiliate chambers across Central and South America.
