1. What is ARVELO architecture + design?
ARVELO is a full-service multi-disciplined architecture and interiors design studio, with a wide range of corporate, hospitality and residential experience. Our team works in full collaboration with our clients and with careful consideration of the client’s budget and schedule. Our goal is to add value to people lives through quality design.
We create spaces to be enjoyed for generations to come and seek balance in our projects as well as in our lives and our work. We want our customers to live, work, and enjoy environments where activities flow easily and where spaces, colors, and materials lift the spirit and the mind and enhance the daily lives of people.
2. How did you get your concept or idea for your business?
I wanted to be an architect since I was a kid. I went to an arts high school and then went to college and got my Masters in architecture. It has been a lifelong goal.
3. What is unique about your business?
We are a full-service architecture and design company and bring our own unique design sensibility to our work. Our design process and practice are to develop spaces and buildings that are timeless in style, highly functional, practical, thoughtfully placed in the landscape and woven into the fabric of their communities. We design projects that enrich our client’s lives, our community, and our environment.
4. What were you doing before you founded your business?
I’ve been doing this for over 28 years. It is my life.
5. What are your goals for your business?
Grow, expand and get bigger projects. We always seek projects that are challenging, diverse and environmentally sensitive.
6. How has being a Certified LGBTBE® through NGLCC impacted your business?
Being a part of NGLCC and becoming a Certified LGBTBE® has given our company exposure to both small and large business opportunities. It’s a great way to network and stay connected to my community.
