A new management consulting firm based out of Woodland Hills, California has been on the rise after a year and a half of development and obtaining the Certified LGBT Business Enterprise® (Certified LGBTBE®) certification. Shortly after joining the IBM led Supplier Connection their team rallied together and won the Supplier Spotlight contest competition in July 2014. Supplier Connect featured their creative company culture and employee-first values, resulting in an influx of calls and emails.
NGLCC Announces $4 Million Public-Private Partnership to Impact Global LGBT Equality through Entrepreneurship and Economic Development

In a historic move, last week U.S. National Security Advisor, Ambassador Susan Rice, announced a new partnership between the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce(NGLCC) to encourage and support gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) business owners and entrepreneurs in developing countries.

Earlier this month, the NGLCC Global team traveled to sunny Puerto Vallarta - Nayarit in Jalisco, Mexico to attend LGBT Confex’s fourth annual LGBT Business Expo. The conference spanned three days, from June 12 to June 14, at the CasaMagna Marriott resort and spa with a mission of gathering LGBT business owners and corporate partners together for seminars, workshops, conferences, and exhibitions related to LGBT business both across Latin America and around the world.

On March 14, 2014 in Mexico City, NGLCC concluded another successful LGBT Trade Mission and LGBT Summit of the Americas. These combined events serve the mission of NGLCC's international division, NGLCC Global, by both promoting international trade and economically empowering the LGBT community outside the U.S. via entrepreneurship, chamber development, and LGBT Supplier Registration.
