Celebrating 2024 NGLCC Conference Award Honorees
The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) is delighted to announce the honorees of the 2024 NGLCC Conference Awards, recognizing outstanding individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the LGBTQ+ and allied business community. These awardees have demonstrated unwavering dedication to fostering inclusive environments and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
2024 NGLCC Conference Award Honorees:
- Corporation of the Year: Google – Recognizing Google’s exceptional commitment to diversity and inclusion, including a robust supplier inclusion program and unwavering support for LGBTQ+ employees, consumers, and suppliers.
- Supplier Diversity Advocate of the Year: Holli Turner, Director of Supplier Diversity and Sustainability, Humana – Honoring Holli Turner’s leadership in advancing supplier diversity practices and her contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Rising Star Affiliate Chamber: Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce
Celebrating the Chamber’s remarkable growth and impactful contributions to the local community and economy. - Global Affiliate Chamber: OutBritain – Recognizing OutBritain’s pioneering efforts as the UK’s first LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce and their significant achievements in supporting LGBTQ+ businesses in the UK.
- LGBT Supplier of the Year: Denise Merritt, Merritt Business Solutions – Acknowledging Denise Merritt’s outstanding leadership and contributions to the LGBTQ+ business community.
- Affiliate Chamber of the Year: GSBA (Washington) – Applauding GSBA’s innovative programs and initiatives that have positively impacted the LGBTQ+ and allied business community in the State of Washington.
- Mentor/Mentee of the Year: Sheri Shafir (AMC Networks) & Ben Brooks (PILOT Inc.) – Honoring the successful mentor-mentee partnership that has fostered growth and development within the business community.
- NGLCC & EY BRG Challenge Winner: Wells Fargo – Recognizing Wells Fargo’s exceptional performance and commitment to advancing BRG initiatives.
- NGLCC Communities of Color Initiative (CoCi) Visibility Award: Lance Dorsey – Sony Pictures Entertainment – Celebrating Lance Dorsey’s significant contributions in impacting positive change for the LGBTQ+ minority-owned business community.
- NGLCC Transgender & Gender Expansive (TGX) Visibility Award: Erica Fields – Celebrating Erica Fields’ efforts in promoting visibility and inclusion for the transgender and gender-expansive community.
- Kellie Parkin Legacy Leadership Award: Amanda Cole, PLEXUS – Honoring Amanda Cole for her impactful leadership and dedication in advancing LGBTQ+ business equality.
