Washington, D.C. — The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), the business voice of the LGBTQ community, will celebrate leaders in LGBTQ and allied economic opportunity at the 2022 National Dinner on November 18, 2022 at the historic National Building Museum. The gala will serve as the culmination of NBIC Unity Week and the celebration of NGLCC’s 20th Anniversary. The National Dinner brings together LGBTQ and allied business owners, corporate diversity leaders, affiliate chamber leaders, elected officials and representatives from NGLCC Global international affiliates.
“2022 has been a year of tremendous growth and success in the LGBTQ and allied business community. It is our great honor to showcase the resilience, strength, and determination of the LGBTQ community at our National Dinner as we celebrate those leaders and organizations that have powered the NGLCC mission over the last twenty years,” said NGLCC Co-Founder & President Justin Nelson.
The 2022 NGLCC National Dinner Award honorees are:
Inaugural NGLCC Out & Leading Award | Erik Day, Senior Vice President, Small Business and Global Executive Chair, PRIDE Employee Resource Group (ERG)
The launch of this inaugural award coincides with the 20th year of NGLCC and the importance out and proud leaders have played and will continue to play in the evolution of NGLCC and the LGBTQ business community. The recipient of this award exhibits leadership traits of courage, collaboration, mentorship, and compassion as well as a history of involvement in organizations and causes important to LGBTQ equity and inclusion.
LGBT Supplier of the Year | Betsy Cerulo, CEO, AdNet/AccountNet
Recognizes an exemplary certified LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE) for their outstanding contributions to the growth and development of LGBTQ and allied supplier diversity.
Supplier Diversity Advocate of the Year | Casey Oakes, Community Impact Lead, Supplier Diversity, Google
Recognizes a leader who has demonstrated commitment to outreach and inclusion of LGBTQ and allied suppliers in the diverse supply chain at their company.
NGLCC Affiliate Chamber of the Year | Twin Cities Quorum
Recognizes an NGLCC Affiliate Chamber for their local community leadership, support and promotion of LGBTBE certification, advocacy initiatives and innovative programming that supports the LGBTQ and allied business community.
Corporation of the Year | Bank of America
Recognizes a corporation for their outstanding support and dedication to ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for LGBTQ and allied suppliers, customers and employees.
