ESG: Small Business owners have a new challenge - defining your ESG bona fides. The days of having a unique product, a marketing and advertising plan and a target market are not enough to make the grade. Dun & Bradstreet ESG Ranking is an assessment that allows companies to highlight their environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics and present them to the world. Actively communicate how your business protects and prepares you to engage with the environment, reflects your spirit of social responsibility and diversity, and operates in a transparent and ethical manner. Understanding the dimensions of ESG is the first step in putting your ESG Ranking to work for your business.

Sustainability: Sustainability is rapidly become business as usual, and increasingly complex. And with the rise Environmental, Social and Governance reporting (or ESG), sustainability throughout the supply chain has gained increased scrutiny, both from consumers and regulators. With all the acronyms and technical terminology, it can be very difficult for business owners to understand what sustainability metrics they should be tracking and even where to start. This forward-looking presentation will outline the key concepts that business owners should be aware of, and provide resources and tools to help them get started. According to the Las Vegas CVB: “Effective Feb. 10, 2022, the State of Nevada has lifted mask mandates, including in resorts and casinos, restaurants, bars, showrooms and meeting spaces. Masks are still recommended for individuals who are not fully vaccinated, those with underlying health conditions and in healthcare facilities.” https://www.vegasmeansbusiness.com/destination-updates/

In Addition, MGM Resorts has implemented their own health and safety procedures for meetings and events on their properties, which includes the Bellagio Hotel & Resort. https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/open.html

The CDC recommendations can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/gatherings.html

The NGLCC will continue to monitor the COVID situation and will implement any additional safety protocols, if deemed necessary, while on-site at the Bellagio Hotel and Resort. The health and safety of our attendees is our number one priority and we encourage masks for any non-vaccinated individuals.

Thank you and we look forward to a safe conference in Las Vegas.
